Bridging Gaps in Pulmonary Hypertension Care: PHA Nepal’s Research Approach.

At PHA Nepal, our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH) through our dedicated research initiatives. Our team of experts is committed to expanding knowledge in the PH field, focusing on identifying care gaps and discovering innovative solutions to address them. We believe that everyone with PH, regardless of their socioeconomic background or geographic location, should have access to the necessary care to manage their condition effectively. To achieve this objective, we conduct screening camps and awareness programs, and we are in the process of developing a comprehensive tool for early detection of pulmonary hypertension, often before its onset. Through our research, we aspire to overcome the iceberg phenomenon in PH and prevent PH-related disabilities and premature mortality. We are confident that our efforts will make a significant impact on the lives of those living with PH, not only in Nepal but also globally.
